My Background

I was born (1972) and raised in Den Helder, a harbor town in the northern part of North Holland. Nowadays I live in Veenendaal. I am married to Ilse and together we have 3 sons. 

In 1995 I joined ING Bank in the business department. After a few positions, I transferred to Fortis Bank in 2002. September 2008 I started as an independent entrepreneur, 3 months before the credit crisis. During the credit crisis I initially worked as a self-employed person for ABN AMRO and Deutsche Bank. Later I started, together with 2 partners, helping entrepreneurs to get out of the crisis through both organizational and financial restructuring. Towards the end of the crisis I started working for FGH Bank, Rabobank’s real estate bank.
